I have a link directory - addthisup.com with the PHPLinkDirectory script. I am a noob when it goes to PHP or any script customization. But surprisingly I don't face many issues in maintaining these sites, thanks to the intelligent coding from the development teams of the script. But still then I face some issues. I am creating this page to specifically help you people like me out there in the web world who are just learning. I will placing the text in the situation and solution type of format.

Situation : Your site is up and running almost fine. You find one nice day that something is wrong. It seems that when you click on any category or sub category your site changes the URL but not the page actually. Yes that happened to me also. When ever I can clicking on any category of my site addthisup.com it was changing the URL but not actually going to the URL, instead it was staying in the home page itself always.

Solution :- Please upload your .htaccess file once again to your phplinkdirectory directory. Overwrite it with your local copy. It will solve the problem.
