Google not showing Jammu and Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh as part of India – New Strategy for Google

0

See the below Screenshots – They were taken on 4th December, 2011 at 11:55 AM.

Google has decided to show Jammu & Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh, our two very own Indian States, to be part of some other country or not being shown as part of our country.

See this screenshot taken from my Google Analytics Dashboard

See the Greyed part on top. Why the hell did Google Gryed out Jammu & Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh ? I will show you another screenshot that actually Google is not even considering that part of India. See another screenshot from Google Analytics Below.

Now see this enlarged image from the Google Analytics Dashboard – World Map from the Demographics Report Window.

See Jammu & Kashmir and Arnunachal Pradesh are not part of India’s map highlight. They have been greyed out as if they are not from India.

Now my question is who is Google to take this decision ? They are absolutely no one. And by supporting this they are directly supporting disputes and terrorism.

Friends & all Indian pass this on to all you know, to stop Google from doing this.

The Move II – Now in the cloud

0

Ok, its complete now. What a relief! At last I was able to successfully setup my Cloud Server and I am successfully been able to run my website www.endofroads.com from the server. It took a steep learning curve but I am really very happy. Now I am sure I can save around ₹ 10,000 a year on hosting with a dedicated IP. Now I can say I have an entire cloud server running Ubuntu 11.11 with a dedicated IP and on a rock solid infrastructure.

But I must say, I have absolutely no complains of my previous account at hostgator.com, which I am going to use for secondary purposes.

If any of you are wondering of how to move a WordPress account from a shared hosting to a cloud server (e.g. Amazon EC2 for me), please drop me a comment or just wait a few days, I promise to make a full featured tutorial for all the people, who has limited knowledge of technical items.

But today, I am tired and I am very very happy and satisfied with me. Good night everyone.

Bingo Mad Angles TV ad – a pathetic display of Creativity

0

What happens when you run out of ideas ? You try to mimic others. A classic example will be the new Bingo TV Ad….which mimics Ramdevji (a few of the non fake saints left) very badly. Kudos to the creative department and those who approved it. Great job indeed.

A quick suggestion for them. When you are running out of ideas hire a better person for the job. It says ”Hire the best and forget the rest”. And if you are losing too much market in competition with Lays or Kurkure. Trust me you deserve it. They tastes far better than your offering. Its time to take a look inside. Thumbs down to the Creative Department(If any creativity at all. Same theme and bogus advertisements for the last 2 years.) of ITC for making such a tasteless (like their chips…oopps…mad angles) ad. Try to innovate rather than mimicking.

Go Kariting @ Grips Bangalore

0

Had a great round of Karting today at Grips Bangalore with my friend. What a way to finish the day.For benefit of all. Grips is @ Mysore Road, Bangalore

.……Directions will be like this…..

Start from Electronics City -> Take the NICE Road -> Reach Bannerghatta Road -> Take the NICE Road again till Mysore Road -> As you enter the Mysore Road take a left turn and find the Raja Rajarajeshwari Hospital ….The find the Grips board and the demo cart on display.

Charges

12 BHP Carts @Rs. 150 for 6 Laps

16 BHP Carts @Rs. 175 for 6 laps.

18 BHP Carts @ Rs. 200 for 6 laps

My Feedback : The carts are good specially the high power ones. The 12 BHP one you can drive through the whole track without lifting your foot off the accelerator. So as you can guess the Track difficulty level is Begineer. But has plenty of overtaking places, so outing with friends will be really fun. There are some places of the track where the road ahead literally gets invisible due to the elevation of the road. Some will like it(me too liked it), but I guess it was a technical snag on the part of construction. And finally value for money part. I know Go Karting is never a value oriented sports, but still I felt the price is on a very higher side. The amount they are charging for just 6 Laps is way too much. I guess 8-10 Laps for the same price would had been decent. So, it is not at all a value for money proposition.

Pros :

+ Carts are good

+ Fairly even race track

+ High Speed Corners

+ Low rush even on weekends

Cons :

- Track Difficulty is on lower side

- Uneven elevation

- High price

Overall Rating – *** (3/5)

Try out with your friends and you will not feel bad bout it.
